This test kit is based on the fluorescence immunochromatography, used for detection of canine C-reactive protein in canine serum, plasma or whole blood samples.Canine C-reactive protein is an acute phase reactant produced and released by the liver in response to acute infection and inflammation in the body and can be used as a marker of acute inflammation. Normal serum CRP levels in canine and feline are essentially below 10mg/L. The pattern of variation in canine C-reactive protein varies between different types of disease and its concentration is not affected by antibiotics or immunosuppressive drugs.
